PT:Este passeio de 4 Km, com duração 2:30 horas, explora a península de São Lourenço. O caminho está em boas condições e permite observar as paisagens a Norte e Sul da ilha.
O clima semiárido e a exposição aos ventos do Norte determinam o desenvolvimento da vegetação rasteira e a ausência de árvores, diferindo do resto da ilha e constituindo um verdadeiro património natural.
No fim do percurso existe um edifício, a casa do Sardinha (nome de família dos antigos proprietários), dando apoio aos vigilantes do serviço do Parque Natural da Madeira, responsável pela vigilância desta área. No final poderá dar um mergulho no cais do Sardinha. Na linha do horizonte temos a Sul as ilhas Desertas e a Norte as ilhas do Porto Santo. Venha conhecer este magnifico passeio.

EN: This tour of 4 km, lasting 2:30 hours, explores the peninsula of St. Lawrence. The road is in good condition and allows us to observe the landscape to the north and south of the island.
The semi-arid climate and exposure to North winds have sculpted the low vegetation and the absence of trees, differing from the rest of the island and is a veritable natural heritage.
At the end of the route there is a building, the home of the Sardine (family name of the former owners), giving support to watchers of the Natural Park Service of Madeira, responsible for watching over the area. At the end you can dive in the Sardinha port. On the horizon to the south the Deserted Islands and the northern islands of Porto Santo. Come see this magnificent walk.
